The cat is almost hidden as he observes unobserved. The eyes for me, show the intensity of the watch.

Wilddog Trio

We were travelling on the S21, Kruger National Park, when we spotted 3 wilddogs heading down the road towards our car. They were quite intent of their surroundings, stopping to sniff the grass along the road. The next day we encountered lion on this road, which could explain why. This is 99x79cm, painted with acrylic on canvas, unframed.

The Weekly Queue 2

Another section of the informal settlement queue. First comers already trudging back up the hill loaded down with parcels, others waiting for their turn to collect. There is always a bag of oranges or, even at times a bag of sweets , for distribution to the children, who are always part of the Queue. Ref: 394

Samurai Statue

Polychromos pencil. A drawing I did of a statue of a Ronin. The difficult part of drawing historic pieces, is showing due respect of history and culture, and allowing that to show in the work. Unframed (can be rolled for shipping.)
