The Aeronaut

Oil on canvas. I love the old, worn leather hat and googles along with the weather worn features of this balloon flying pilot.

Hilltop Trance

Polychromos pencil. I absolutely love the romance that surrounds steam locomotives. The idea of where have you been, what have you seen and the people and memories that were created while riding on the beautiful machines. As they stand now, those memories are written (and earned)in patina and ware. Unframed (can be rolled for shipping.)

Wilddog on Alert

We were travelling on the S21, Kruger National Park, when we spotted 3 wilddogs heading down the road towards our car. I had my window open to take photos, and they gradually moved closer. This one spotted me and started walking towards me, he assessed me, which felt like forever, then moved off to assess his surroundings. Charcoal and acrylic on paper, unframed A2.
